Maggie Smith (Margaret Natalie Smith was born on December 28, 1934, also known as Dame Maggie Smith) is the actor who plays Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies.

His father was a professor at Oxford University and his mother worked as a secretary. Smith was married twice, first with the actor Robert Stephens, and with the playwright Beverley Cross. His marriage ended in 1974 with Stephens in divorce and marriage among her and the Cross was completed in 1999, when he died. With Stephens Smith has two sons, Chris and Toby, who are also actors. Maggie Smith has appeared recently in the popular movie series of Harry Potter Professor McGonagall as formidable. It was also the owner at the time due to breast cancer, but now it has been reported to be recovering from that before continue to shoot the last two Harry Potter and Julian Fellowes' film once in a while (2009) with Timothy Spall, Hugh Bonneville and Anne Reid.
