Julia Mary Walters (born February 22,1950) is a British actress, married to Grant Roffey (1997-Present.) Julia a.k.a Julie has had one daughter with Grant called Maisie(born 1990). She plays Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter films

Julia Mary Walters as Walters was born in Smethwick, West Midlands, the daughter of Mary Bridget (néE O'Brien), a postal worker of Irish Catholic extraction, and Thomas Walters, a builder and decorator.Walters attended Holly Lodge Grammar School Girls at Holly Lane in Smethwick, but was asked to leave at the end of their sixth child, due to its "high Jinks." He trained as a nurse at the age of 18 years, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after working for a year. She fell in love with her first boyfriend crazy right then left to study sociology at Manchester. The decision to forgo a career in nursing to become an actor and live with her boyfriend in Manchester, and studied English and Drama at Manchester Polytechnic (now Manchester Metropolitan University), Pete Postlethwaite and a career performance. In an interview with Alison Oddey, Walters said of his early education: "I was never going to be academic, so [my mother] suggested that I try to teach or nursing [...] I was asked to leave school, so I thought I would do better
